“Sava Šumanović and Artistic and Theoretical Universe of André Lhote”

The first of Sava Šumanović’s three stays in Paris, which lasted between the autumn of 1920 and the summer of 1921, involved three-month lessons in the studio of the French artist, theoretician and pedagogue, André Lhote. The art historian, Sofija Milenković, will discuss the importance that Lhote’s mentorship had for Šumanović’s development and influence on his artistic and theoretical work.
