”An Untold Story: Šumanović – Dorić – The Gallery of Matica Srpska”

Seventeen artworks that Šumanović created between 1921 and 1925 are currently kept in The Gallery of Matica Srpska and the National Museum of Modern Art in Zagreb. All of them had originally belonged in the more diverse and complex Dorić Collection. Tijana Palkovljević Bugarski, PhD, director of The Gallery of Matica Srpska, will tell a story of how Šumanović’s paintings came into the ownership of this institution and will also discuss their significance.
