LIZA KRIŽANIĆ: RAINBOW IN SEVEN COLOURS

An opening of the exhibition of the best children’s works, Liza Križanić: A Rainbow in Seven Colours is scheduled on Saturday, 16 May at 11 a.m. This educational programme for preschool children began in late 2025, and the opening of the final exhibition will mark International Museum Day (18th May). The programme dedicated to Liza Križanić (1905–1982) was tasked to mark the 115th birth anniversary of this artist whose works are preserved in the collection of Pavle Beljanski. All works by the artist from The Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection served as the inspiration for museum creative workshops organised for children from five kindergartens of PPI “Radosno detinjstvo” in Novi Sad (“Veseljko”, “Pčelica”, “Veseli vrtić”, “Kolibri”, and “Čarolija”), involving around 120 participants. This year’s collaboration between The Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection, PPI “Radosno detinjstvo”, and the Children’s Cultural Centre Novi Sad resulted in another unique project in which participants had the opportunity to hear stories told by curators about the diplomat and collector Pavle Beljanski, learn about museum etiquette, and, most importantly, create their own artworks inspired by the art of Liza Križanić. The exhibition of the best children’s works will remain open until 2nd August 2026.

Marija and Milica Sabljić

The duo M&M began its musical journey in 2017. They are sisters, Milica and Marija Sabljić, who have since frequently performed in many concert halls in Belgrade. Their repertoire mainly consists of works by contemporary Serbian composers, as well as compositions by French composers from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
