The activities that take place on April 9th will cover the educational aspects of the ChoreoChroma project which is a result of cooperation among The Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection, the “Lukoda” Dance Association from Luxembourg and the “Bewegend Beeld Foundation” from Rotterdam, and was conceived through the “Tandem Capitals of Culture” programme and the connection between the two European Capitals of Culture: Novi Sad and Esch (Luxembourg).
By combining creativity and youth, and drawing inspiration from the cultural heritage, this project also involves the artistic analysis of an international group of artists who utilize different media (dance, painting, music, video, photography) and professionals who work in culture. The presentation of this research is scheduled for July 2022 as the part of the Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg) European Capital of Culture project. The presentation will take form of a performance inspired by Sava Šumanović’s painting Luncheon on the Grass from The Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection. The educational events that take place in April in Novi Sad will also present an opportunity to put forward ideas for the performance planned on the occasion of Sava Šumanović and the Realism in Europe between the Two World Wars exhibition opening which involves the young dancers and which is scheduled on the 24th September 2022 in Novi Sad.
