May 16 – August 9, 2026
The Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection is currently hosting an exhibition of children’s final works entitled Liza Križanić: A Rainbow in Seven Colours, created within a series of creative programmes for preschool children. The educational programme, which began last year, focuses on one of the seven female artists in the Pavle Beljanski Collection, Liza Križanić (1905–1982), marking the 115th anniversary of the painter’s birth. The workshops involved children from five kindergartens of the Public Preschool Institution “Radosno detinjstvo” from Novi Sad (“Veseljko”, “Pčelica”, “Veseli vrtić”, “Kolibri”, and “Čarolija”), with approximately 120 children participating. This year’s collaboration between The Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection, represented by the museum advisor Milica Orlović Čobanov, the project coordinator, Jelena Tišma and Viktoria Čikoš from PPI “Radosno detinjstvo”, and Ljubica Tankosić from the Children’s Cultural Centre Novi Sad resulted in another unique programme in which participants could create their own artworks inspired by the art of Liza Križanić. The exhibition of children’s final works, open until 2 August 2026, presents the results of this collaborative work, both through the display itself and within the accompanying programme.
