From the Museum Depository: Pavle Beljanski’s Order of the Legion of Honour

The visitors will have the opportunity to learn about selected valuable items from the Collection of Decorations that Pavle Beljanski received during his rich diplomatic career (1919–1959). The lecture by Milica Orlović Čobanov, the author of From Stockholm to Belgrade: through the Collection of Decorations in The Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection, will give a special overview on the 5th Class Order of the Legion of Honour. Beljanski received the highest French decoration in 1927 from Gaston Doumergue, the thirteenth president of the Third French Republic.
