Architecture and museums in Serbia

Nađa Kurtović Folić, PhD, a daughter of the architect Ivo Kurtović, university professor, lectured at the Department of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of Novi Sad (former employee at the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments of Belgrade, and the Provincial Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments of Vojvodina in Novi Sad). Milan Popadić, PhD, the laureate of The Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection Award and the “Lazar Trifunović” Award, is a full professor at the Department of Art History at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade. In his subject Heritage Studies, he specializes in the relationship between museology and architecture. These interlocutors, who belong to different professions and generations, will discuss the topic “Architecture and Museums in Serbia”, but also expand on the range of museum projects created by Ivo Kurtović.
