A LIFE DEDICATED TO ART

Thanks to the partnership between The Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection and the Italian Cultural Institute in Belgrade, the short documentary, “A Life Dedicated to Art”, with subtitles in Italian, will be screened at the Institute, on Tuesday, 5th December, at 6:00 PM. Premiered in 2020, the film “A Life Devoted to Art” commemorates the centenary of Pavle Beljanski’s first diplomatic post in Stockholm in 1919. It was produced in cooperation with the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and with the support of the City of Novi Sad Office for Culture.

It highlights the most significant segments of Pavle Beljanski’s biography and the transformation of his private collection into a public collection. The Italian Cultural Institute has provided a translation of this documentary into the Italian language, including its presentation at the Institute premises, accompanied by brief reflections on the results and importance of Pavle Beljanski’s diplomatic mission in Rome (1935–1940).
