Russian Architects in Novi Sad Between the Two World Wars
Lecture
Saturday, 19 October, 5 PM
Lecturer: Valentina Vuković, PhD
The shortage of engineers and architects in Novi Sad, as well as in other cities of the Yugoslav state after World War I, was compensated by the arrival of Russian émigrés. The lecture will cover the work of two builders who left significant architectural landmarks in Novi Sad: Yuri Nikolaevich Shroeter and Konstantin Paris de la Valette.
