Where the Representative and the Private Meet

The concept of the Artists’ Memorial has gradually changed: from the initial desire to visually combine works from the collection, the artists and the donor in a permanent exhibition, to thematic exhibitions held in the Memorial Collection. The art historian and the author of an article in the Artists’ Memorial monography, Jasmina Jakšić Subić, will offer her interpretation of the Memorial on how different angles establish new facts necessary for the progress, which makes any museum a “living organism”.
