Pavle Beljanski’s Birthday Workshop “Do You Want to Be an Art Collector?”

To mark the birthday of Pavle Beljanski (19 June 1892 – 14 July 1965), The Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection will host a children’s workshop, Who Wants to Be an Art Collector, on Saturday, 20 June, at 11 a.m. A diplomat and true art enthusiast, Pavle Beljanski spent more than forty years carefully selecting and collecting some of the most important works by renowned Yugoslav artists. When this precious collection was moved into the purpose-built museum building in 1961, Pavle Beljanski devoted great care to arranging the display according to his own vision, ensuring that its beauty could be appreciated in its full splendour. Celebrating the birthday of this diplomat and art collector, we will enjoy a playful and creative workshop by designing a mini gallery and curating an exhibition in which we will display our small drawings inspired by the Pavle Beljanski Collection.
