The 2026 International Museum Day and European Night of Museums will be traditionally marked this month at The Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection on Saturday, 16th May and the following weekend, 23rd May, offering visitors an enjoyable shared experience.
The programme organised for the International Museum Day (18th May) at The Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection will take place on Saturday, 16th May, under the slogan “Museums Uniting a Divided World”. It features the opening of the children’s exhibition titled Liza Križanić: A Rainbow in Seven Colours, as well as a concert by the piano duo M&M.
European Night of Museums, taking place this year on 23rd May, will be celebrated at The Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection, in cooperation with the “Mišolovka” Youth Theatre, with two performances of the museum play Cuca and Bogdan: The Untold Story, which has already attracted great interest from audiences. Alongside the permanent display of the finest artworks from the collection of Pavle Beljanski, these days visitors will also be able to explore two 3D models from the tactile exhibition Touch and Feel intended for blind and visually impaired persons, while the museum will also be available in digital format. Admission to The Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection will be free of charge during the events on 16th and 23rd May.
