A Woman as an Inspiration for Female Artists

The curator will be discussing the recurring themes in Pavle Beljanski’s Collection to accentuate the different perceptions and roles of women in the works of seven female artist from the Memorial Collection that belong to the national Modern art. By using the method of comparative interpretation, the lecture will examine the contemporary perception of these artworks and their impact on the social position of women and their art within the context of national culture.
