Lecture: Teodora Perović, art historian
On occasion of the Statehood Day, a thematic lecture “First Exhibitions of Artworks Collected by the Diplomat Beljanski: from Private to Public” will be held on Thursday, 17 February at 7 PM. The lecture follows the story of the first public displays of Pavle Beljanski's collection in Sombor and Belgrade. An art historian, Teodora Perović, will talk about Beljanski’s desire and attempts to make his life’s work available to the public and offer it as a gift to his people, which reached fruition in Novi Sad, in 1957.
