The Belgrade exhibition of The Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection, Musical Intermezzo: Pavle Beljanski’s Collection of Gramophone Records, was made in cooperation with the SASA Gallery. The exhibition covers a less-famous museum collection which reveals Pavle Beljanski’s taste and dedication to music, but also offers an insight into developments in the interwar music industry. It includes live recordings which enabled Beljanski to enjoy exciting musical performances from the stages around the world in his home by organizing soirees that always involved music listening. The exhibition is accompanied by the records collection catalogue and during July visitors will be able to attend thematic concerts, curatorial tours as well as musicology lectures. This exhibition in the SASA Gallery was supported by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia.
