Conversation on Heroism: To Be a Female Artist!

Part of the programme of the Summer at the Gallery Square dedicated to Novi Sad artists will be rounded off with a conversation between an art historian Suzana Vuksanović, the museum advisor of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina and female artists: Zorica Čolić MA, Jelena Kovačević Vorgučin MA, Monika Sigeti MA, Dragana B. Stevanović PhD and Jelena Janev PhD. The discussion will cover common problems, topics, obsessions of female artists then and now. Special attention will be paid to their experience on the international art scene, as a kind of leitmotif of cultural events in Novi Sad, in the year when the city bears the title of the European Capital of Culture.
