This summer holiday, The Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection takes part in the event hosted by the Children’s Cultural Centre Novi Sad. On this occasion, we have prepared art workshops for the groups of up to 12 participants aged 6–12. Tuesday, 5 July, 11 AM –12.30 PM: Who Is Your Heroine?
The exhibition Heroines of the Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection features artworks by seven female artists that have left an indelible mark on the cultural heritage of our country. Who is your heroine? The most important figure in your life. Introduce her in the form of a collage.
Wednesday, 6 July, 11 AM – 12.30 PM: En plein air
The female artists from Pavle Beljanski’s Collections whose art is displayed at the Heroines exhibition were good at plein air painting (outdoors, under natural light). After learning about the technique they used for their works, we will also test our skills at drawing in the museum garden.
Thursday, 7 July 11 AM – 12.30 PM: Female Artists from Your Angle
What’s your favourite piece of art from the exhibition Heroines of the Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection? Show us the most interesting detail from that artwork using plasticine. The selection of works by Nadežda Petrović, Kovačević Kovačević, Zora Petrović, Bela Pavlović, Liza Križanić, Cuca Sokić and Milica Zorić is truly wide.
