During the summer holiday, The Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection takes part in the event Novi Sad Children’s Summer, organized by the Children’s Cultural Centre Novi Sad. The creative workshops will thematically correspond to the exhibition Characters and Personas: 50th Anniversary of the Artists’ Memorial and will focus on two museum anniversaries – 60 years since its opening and 50 years of the Artist’s Memorial. Workshops are organized for groups of up to 12 participants aged 6 to 12.
Programme
29 June: A Visit to a Studio – Freedom of Creation
The exhibition Characters and Personas also includes artworks that depict the artists’ personal space, the one in which they create freely, but also the space in which they live. In this workshop participants will explore a studio and offer their own thoughts on how they would organize theirs.
30 June: Artist’s Room – I Love Quizzes
We will test the focus and knowledge gained during the Characters and Personas exhibition tour and the answers will provide clues that will reveal the topic of the “Artist’s Room” workshop.
1 July: Who’s Who? – Love of Sculpting
In a game of questions and answers, based on the examples from Pavle Beljanski’s collection, we will share our love of sculpting and become even more skilled than before!
2 July: My Latest Art Collection
Celebrating the birthday of The Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection, we will play the game of artwork purchase by obtaining the creations made at the workshop and, as true collectors, assemble our own museum collections and exhibit them in the miniature gallery model.
