Lecture – The World of Vidosava Kovačević

The early-departed painter Vidosava Kovačević left behind a complex body of work that reflects the rise of Serbian modern painting in the period preceding the First World War. Her artistic expression, shaped by influences from Munich and Paris, stands as a testament to the cultural transfer from Europe to Serbia, as well as to the distinctive talent of a young artist whose undoubtedly significant achievements were cut short by sudden death.
