A Gift in Honour of Great Friendship, Jefto Perić

The chamber exhibition A Gift in Honour of Great Friendship is the third in the series dedicated to the most important donors of The Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection. It includes the items that the painter’s wife, Cecilie Perić, donated to the Collection. The friendship between Pavle Beljanski and Jeftо Perić developed in Paris in 1929 and lasted for three and a half decades. This chamber exhibition offers a selection of artworks from the gift made by Cecilie Perić, which provides wider perspective on the work of Jefto Perić – Pavle Beljanski’s friend, an influential representative of Serbian 20^th century art, a campaigner for the artists’ rights and an esteemed pedagogist. The exhibition will be open for visitors from 8 July to 1 August 2021.
